Expeditionary Information Systems is a small consultancy based in Helena, Montana providing project development services to groups beginning to emerge as communities of practice.

We specialize in helping collaborative projects get started and move towards a common goal. We prefer to work with open-source tools and methods (and specialize in customizing the Drupal CMS framework to fit individual organizational needs and budgets), but have also developed proprietary software to facilitate collaborative work, and worked with hosted service providers as well.
Clients have included commercial, governmental and non-governmental, and international organizations. Projects have included information resource collection and dissemination; software development and support; national and state level online advocacy; local and international crisis management, and emerging areas of law and legal practice.
